This award celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to promoting diversity, inclusivity, and preserving biodiversity, while fostering sustainable development.

Eligibility Ceiteria:
The Bhishma Award is open to individuals who:

Have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to supporting small livestock farmers.

Have made significant contributions to promoting diversity, inclusivity and biodiversity conservation in livestock farming practices.

Have shown a strong commitment to sustainable development and environmental friendly practices in the livestock sector.
Selection Process:
A panel of esteemed judges will select the winner(s) based on the following criteria:

Impact and scalability of their work

Innovation and creativity in their approach

Commitment to diversity, inclusivity and biodiversity conservation

Contribution to sustainable development and environmentally friendly practices
Award Ceremony:
The Bhishma Award will be felicitated on 29th September at a prestigious ceremony, bringing together renowned experts, policymakers and community leaders in the livestock sector.

Nominations for the Bhishma Award are now open. To nominate an outstanding community leader, please submit the following:

Prize Money & Recognition:
The Final Selected Awardees from North East Regions (Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram), Central Region (Kolkata, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Maharashtra) & South Region (Adhra Pradesh, Telengana, Kerala, Tamilnadu) will get:
